About Madelyn Dietz

Madelyn "Rosemary" Dietz brings both scholarly rigor and genuine passion to every poem she creates. A Princeton University Class of 2025 graduate in creative writing with High Honors, Madelyn earned the prestigious Joyce Carol Oates Award for her poetry thesis—recognition usually given to fiction writers but awarded to poets of exceptional merit. Her credentials as a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts and National Student Poet for the Midwest reflect her commitment to excellence. Simultaneously, her lifelong love of language ensures every verse sparkles with authenticity.Madelyn believes poetry has the power to transform ordinary moments into extraordinary memories, whether she's enriching conferences and conventions with creative flair or writing heartfelt verses for life's most special celebrations. She still gets excited about perfectly rhymed couplets and ardently alliterative arrangements, jotting them faster than you can say "iambic pentameter!"
